For children ages 2 to 6, Good Shepherd Preschool offers flexible two-, three-, or five-day morning programs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Children do not need to be potty-trained to enroll; however, an additional fee applies for those who are not. For families interested in extending their child’s day, we also offer Lunch Club from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., providing supervised activities and care for children who stay longer.
At Good Shepherd, we help children learn with love in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. Through hands-on activities and guided instruction, we focus on developing a wide range of skills, including:
- Language development
- Reading readiness and writing skills
- Pre-math and science exploration
- Art, music, and dramatic play
- Fine and gross motor skills
Our preschool program follows a carefully designed scope and sequence tailored to each age group. Concepts are introduced, reinforced, and mastered, ensuring each child progresses with confidence and excitement. Through this developmental approach, children gain academic knowledge as well as the social-emotional and problem-solving skills they need to thrive.
Welcome to Room 2, a vibrant and nurturing space where the wonder of early childhood comes alive for our energetic and inquisitive two-year-olds. Thoughtfully designed for joyful learning, meaningful connections, and celebrated milestones, Room 2 offers a warm and enriching environment guided by a patient and caring teaching team.
In Room 2, learning is hands-on and developmentally appropriate. Our curriculum embraces the natural curiosity of toddlers through play-based experiences that inspire creativity and build foundational skills. Children explore textures with squishy shaving cream, express themselves with colorful paints, and strengthen fine motor skills using crayons, markers, and a variety of craft materials. The classroom comes to life with vibrant artwork proudly displayed on walls and windows—each piece a reflection of a child’s imagination and effort.
Beyond artistic discovery, we support toddlers through important developmental milestones like potty training. With gentle encouragement, consistent routines, and positive reinforcement, we help children progress at their own pace—building independence, self-confidence, and a sense of accomplishment.
Each month, a new theme—such as animals, seasons, shapes, or community helpers—guides our learning. Children engage with the theme through themed crafts, group discussions, sensory bins, and storytime. These activities stimulate curiosity, language development, and early comprehension skills.
Our daily rhythm includes plenty of music and movement, helping children develop coordination, rhythm, and self-expression. Whether dancing to a fun tune or engaging in group play, children are encouraged to move, laugh, and connect with their peers in a joyful, safe space.
Room 2 is more than just a classroom—it’s a community where each child is known, valued, and celebrated. We are committed to fostering a loving, secure environment where young children feel free to explore, grow, and thrive. With the support of a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching team, every child’s journey is nurtured with patience, purpose, and heart.
Room Three is a thoughtfully designed, developmentally appropriate space where young children thrive through meaningful play, guided discovery, and warm, nurturing interactions. Our classroom is carefully organized into three primary areas—Block Area, House Area (Dramatic Play), and Manipulative Area—each one intentionally created to support key aspects of early childhood development.
In the block area, children are encouraged to build, stack, and create using a variety of materials. These hands-on experiences naturally introduce early concepts in math, science, and literacy as children explore shapes, sizes, patterns, and spatial awareness. Working individually or collaboratively, children develop essential skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and cooperation—all while building self-confidence and enjoying the process of creation.
Our dramatic play center is where imagination takes center stage. Whether reenacting family routines, hosting pretend meals, or caring for dolls, children engage in imaginative role-play that nurtures creativity, empathy, and language development. These open-ended experiences also help build social-emotional skills like turn-taking, negotiation, and conflict resolution, all within a safe, supportive environment.
The manipulative area is a cozy and multifunctional space designed to strengthen fine motor skills, logical thinking, and spatial reasoning. Here, children explore puzzles, lacing toys, small building sets, and other tactile materials. We’ve also woven early math and art into this area, offering counting activities, number recognition, drawing, painting, and pre-writing exercises. These hands-on tasks support both cognitive and creative development while preparing children with foundational academic skills.
Each day in Room Three is enriched with joyful moments of storytime, music and movement, and ample indoor and outdoor play. Our story sessions spark curiosity and build vocabulary, while music and dance provide fun, energetic ways to develop coordination and self-expression.
At the core of Room Three is our belief that children learn best through play—and that with love, consistency, and care, every child can flourish. We are committed to supporting the whole child—socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically—in a warm and welcoming classroom where each child is known, celebrated, and encouraged to grow into their fullest potential.
Welcome to class Room 4, a joyful, Christ-centered learning environment where children are encouraged to grow in heart, mind, and spirit. Our goal is to help each child experience faith as a natural and comforting part of life. We emphasize the values of love, honesty, respect, and gratitude—creating a classroom culture filled with joy, peace, and grace where every child feels safe and valued.

By the end of the year, children leave Room 4 with joyful hearts, a love for learning, and a foundation of faith that will guide them in the years ahead.
Welcome to Room 5, our vibrant and nurturing Pre-Kindergarten classroom designed to support your child’s transition to kindergarten with confidence, joy, and a love for learning. We focus on building the academic foundations, social skills, and emotional growth children need to thrive in both public and private school environments.
In Room 5, your child will engage in a well-rounded program that emphasizes:
- Academic Readiness:
Children learn to identify and write both uppercase and lowercase letters, connect them with their corresponding sounds, write numbers 1–20, and count up to 100. They also explore shapes and colors, develop proper scissor skills, and learn to identify and write their first and last names. - Social and Emotional Growth:
Through guided play, group activities, and classroom routines, children practice independence, cooperation, turn-taking, and following multi-step directions—all while learning how to manage emotions and build healthy relationships. - Faith and Character Development:
Each week, we attend chapel and weave prayer, worship songs, and Bible truths into our daily rhythm. Children are gently introduced to God’s love and the values of kindness, respect, and gratitude.
Room 5 is more than a classroom—it’s a place where children are encouraged, supported, and celebrated. Our biggest goal is to ensure every child feels loved, safe, and excited to learn. Through engaging activities, creative expression, and purposeful instruction, every day in Room 5 is filled with laughter, growth, and fun!
Room 6 is a warm, welcoming environment where young children are encouraged to learn, grow, and explore through developmentally appropriate, play-based experiences. With a strong foundation of care and consistency, this classroom is thoughtfully designed to foster both academic readiness and social-emotional development—helping each child blossom into a confident, curious, and capable learner.
We believe children learn best through hands-on exploration and joyful discovery. In Room 6, play is purposeful and woven into every part of the day. Our well-rounded curriculum includes art, music, movement, science, and engaging themed activities that support cognitive, physical, and creative growth in meaningful and fun ways. Whether mixing colors at the easel, dancing to music, or exploring nature-based projects, children experience learning that is both exciting and enriching.
We place a strong emphasis on early academics and social-emotional learning, knowing that both are vital to long-term success. Every child’s development is closely observed, allowing us to provide guidance and support tailored to their unique needs and learning style. We encourage important early skills such as problem-solving, peer interaction, emotional regulation, and self-confidence—laying the groundwork for a smooth transition to kindergarten and beyond.
In Room 6, children actively work on:
- Name recognition
- Early writing and fine motor development
- Scissor skills and proper grip techniques
Each child receives their own personal supply box and journal, helping foster responsibility, ownership of materials, and independence in learning. These daily tools not only support foundational academic skills but also promote a sense of pride in their work and progress.
At the heart of Room 6 is a commitment to creating a safe, joyful, and supportive atmosphere where every child feels seen, heard, and loved. Parents can feel confident knowing their children are nurtured by a compassionate teacher who is deeply invested in their success—both in the classroom and in life.
In Room 6, every day brings new opportunities to discover, create, connect, and thrive—one loving step at a time.
Room 7 is a joyful, Christ-centered learning environment where children are nurtured in mind, heart, and spirit. Rooted in the love of Jesus, our classroom is a place where young learners develop academically, emotionally, and spiritually—preparing them for the journey ahead with confidence and care.
In Room 7, we help children discover the joy of a personal relationship with God. Through daily prayer, Bible stories, songs, and learning about God’s love and commandments, students are encouraged to shine Jesus’ light in their words and actions. We reinforce spiritual values such as kindness, honesty, patience, and respect—creating a culture of love and grace where every child feels safe, seen, and valued.

- Letter and number recognition
- Drawing and coloring
- Writing practice
- Fine motor development, including cutting and gluing
These daily routines support pre-kindergarten skills and prepare children for success in kindergarten, all while fostering a love of learning and exploration.
